A small tip for you all. Anything to do with bicycles is converting like crazy in the aff market right now. I've had to turn off my affiliate window desktop alert because it was starting to get annoying

nice result - i've struggled to parse out the product feed (wiggle) cause it so big - keep getting errors for some reason - once i master this, i'll try and whack a few of my domains into websites, this will spell the end for you, cause i manage to miss the boat on most things!!

apparently product prices are up loads on last year - something about material prices??

It's wiggle that is converting the most. I've made a few sales with Evans, SBR and Halfords, but wiggle is about 90% of total sales in this market... Just a shame their bike sales only earn 1% commission.

It won't be the end for me, the market is big enough for everyone
That is one kinda tip no-one on A4U will tell you. They like to keep their moneyspinners a secret

@ Charlie, yes, compared to 2008 bikes, 2009 bike models have gone up in price a lot due to the increased prices of materials used in bike production, and at the same time, the specifications have been downgraded compared to 2008 bikes, as a result, a lot of people try to get 2008 bikes that are still in stock, so they can get a better spec for their money, plus the 2008 bikes are now at reduced prices, so it's a bonus all round for buyers if you can find a bike at the right size/make/model.

I'm getting a good few sales on 2 of my own bike sites I recently made, total sales = £3297.78 = £87.03 commission since June 17th, would be more commission but people buy at Wiggle too often and they only go 1% - 2% on bikes and frames.

Sold a £999 bike a few days ago through halfords, expected £60 commission from that sale as they pay 6% on bike sales, but when the customer placed their order, they chose the "reserve, collect in store" button, when they choose that, you only get 1%

Still a cracking niche though Kev. That's why I snapped up your 2 names yesterday.
The long tail domains take a month or two to get going but they start converting eventually. I've still got about 30 bike names I've yet to develop..

P.S. It was you that alerted me to this niche, when I bought framesets.co.uk mentioned in another thread. This is converting almost on a daily basis now

A few .org.uk that are available to register, all have nice search volumes, the last one in the list would be ideal for a BMX site including a store and forum all connected:

bmxwheels.org.uk = £0.35 - 27,100
bmxframe.org.uk = £0.30 - 49,500
bmxframes.org.uk = £0.41 - 22,200
bmxcycling.org.uk = £0.19 - 165,000

Hi Dunk,

Please PM me your info and I will investigate.

We pay all accounts that have accrued over £20, on the 15th of each month.

Hi Boxer,

Why not post a couple of your sites URL's so we can assess?

Would be helpful for all.
