I've rounded up 28 interviews from a wide range of publications, covering generic exact match domains from all sorts of sectors.

Each interview is with the owner of a "real" business, and highlights the benefits they've seen from owning the exact match domain for their niche.

    Businesses covered include:
    - Phone.com
    - GardenBenches.com
    - Cruises.co.uk
    - CarLoans.com.au
    - PennyStocks.com
    - BikiniWaxing.com
    - WeddingRings.com
    + many more...

(Note: the real credit deserves to go to the people who put so much effort into tracking down and interviewing the business owners in question)

Anyway, hope you'll find it interesting!

Very interesting, Edwin. I've bookmarked a few of those interviews for later.

I'm currently in talks for a couple of EMDs but the sellers want a lot more than I'm willing to pay for them. This post has just pushed me a little closer to meeting their valuations!

I think my favourite point from the above was that it stops the competition from having it.

A lot of this is self-promotion isn't it?

cheltenhamcouriers com how does that help them? co.uk would be much better and it's FTR.. the piece was written by the webdesign company that helped them choose the wrong name

Just shows you what happens in the real world rather than this bubble domainers live in.

Added a ton more to the list - now up to 72 interview snippets (including several .co.uk). That's probably all the low hanging fruit for a while, but I'll continue to add stuff I come across.
