(apologies if this doean't really belong in appraisals)

What are they worth? They always get picked up, normally by the same few. I can see the value of ici.co.uk or ntl.co.uk but kcr.co.uk? what would a domain like that be worth. All the 3 letter .co.uk's are on my list but I'm questioning whether its worth my effort?

    They are worth having.

A very large number of companies are known by three letters and would like a short domain name like that.
I paid £1000 for one, for one of my companies.

If you can sell it directly to the end user, they fetch about £1-2K.
To a dealer, between £100 and £500, depending on the letters. If it spells a word, it's towards the top. If it contains letters like q,x & z, that drags it down.
