well after alot of thought i went and did it.
gets alot of results and searches.
I don't put much value into .me.uk, however this is a good generic term. Might be worth putting up some pasta recipes etc and get it in the search engines.
i agree .me.uk isnt everyones cup of tea.
but i think its a nice one.
would anyone really be put off looking at a site that has the .me.uk ext
i wouldnt think "oh no im not looking at that site, its got .me.uk on the end"
think your right bensd, will get some recipes etc and see how it goes.
When a web user sees a URL that they have to remember and type in to the bar then .me.uk will put them off, but if they come across the site through doing a search then i don't think they give a flying f*ck TBH.
Infact i would say a lot of web users don't even pay attenetion to the extension.
Nice generic but can't see where the money is ?
Recipe books and that but how many people searching for pasta on the net are looking to buy something ?
At least you're giving it a shot.
As for value, mr Owen sold printers,me,uk for £50 and got to be worth a lot more than pasta,me,uk
Maybe £20, sorry mate but that's all i think.
We're all struggling to get businesses to realise the potential of generic .co.uks let alone .me.uks, so no end user value.
NB* keep Pastahut in mind for future reference.
