Hi - can anyone recommend a reasonably priced commercial dropcatcher? I know the date of release of the domain name I want - I need someone with the right software (or whatever) to catch it.

    Help much appreciated!

    Hi Jeremy,

Who catches the domain name is luck of the draw.

You may want to register yourself with several for the one domain.

    Is it .co.uk or .com

    .com drop catchers include:
    enom.com
    pool.com
    dropcatcher.com
    . . .

If its .co.uk, then there are many dropcatchers who frequent this board including some of the best.

Again, no single one of them can assuredly catch it.

Thanks for the info. It is a .co.uk, so is there anyone out there who reckons they can do better than dropcatcher.co.uk, who operates a no win-no fee policy? It shouldn't be too difficult, as I know the day of release. For that reason, I wouldn't want to pay any more than dropcatcher charges...

    Thanks

    Jeremy

You want someone better than dropcatcher, on a no-win - no-fee basis and if they catch it, to only pay them £30 odd?

I think you should do stand up. ;)

I think we would all know the date of release if we knew the name, it's not hard to work it out.

Thing you must understand, we only get a certain amount of requests a day, so we can only really chase so many domains. Plus the more you add the less chance you have on the whole of catching all the domains.

What you are asking someone to do is to give up the chance to catch a name that they want for themself, this could be a domain worth a vast amount of money that they are giving up.

Why would someone do this for the chance to make £30?
