I am only seeing 480 exacts. Airport parking would be one to go for :)

Airportparking would be a lot more expensive but just because a domain doesn't have great "exacts" doesn't mean it has low value

True, just harder to drive traffic to it without going through searches. Knowing brums intentions, I don't think this domain is right. Especially at that price.

Domain would be great if used for a PCC campaign and will probably finish a lot higher than its current price.

People need to move away from being blinkered by the exact tool from Google.

Well done you for jumping on the band wagon and saying what everyone keeps saying. I am not a horse ;) Nor am I blinkered.

I was merely saying related to Brum's plans, unless they have changed or I can't remember them right, then this domain wouldn't suit them.

i love a bit of debate

@ashton , ur right according to the plans i had this would not make sense have another reason for this though

rest of u guys , i agree exacts very low would it be better to have

    something like this airportcarparks.co.uk

or elephantparking.co.uk and then in PPC cheap parking at heathrow / luton whatever

    which would be better ?

would u remember elephant parking or airportcarparks ????
and how would semantic search affect it in the future ?

Well I've never had to search for a website to find parking places for my elephant - he tends to create his own space!

Seriously though. Elephantparking would be a great domain name - memorable. Keyword domains are great for helping to get a good ranking in Google, but I would guess not very good for people to remember and go back. PPC is particularly good where, once people have found your site, they keep coming back, either because they bookmarked your site or just remember it.

So for me it depends on your business model. Is ppc viable? Is it so competitive that you have to pay too much per click to be viable? If so then you need to try to rank highly in search and keyword rich domain will obviously help.

It depends on how competitive your niche is - I would think airport parking is very competitive. So either you will need to do a lot of SEO and just having a good exact match domain name won't be enough, or you'll need to pay alot for ppc.

FWIW, I do have some airportparking pages on one of my sites. They are among my least visited pages!

It looks to me that you would find it hard to compete organically, and hard to compete through PPC. The PPC rate looks high and the organic search results... travel supermarket? Nice.

If I wanted to make an affiliate site in that niche, I would find a less competitive search query and buy the domain for that, like locationairportparking.co.uk and go organic.

Well looks like someone saw the value in the domain as it went for £4,101

So much for the Google exact tool.....

Wonder if it’s a certain carpark company that also has a very nice portfolio of names…. Should be? Time will tell....
