    think the last decade or more been a misery for him so he's at rest now

    I think there should have been a thread everyday he was alive, that the guy somehow made it to that age with what he did was beyond me.

    Sad to see a unique individual go though.

    It comes to us all but what great joy he gave

    I Dont watch snooker on tele now at all

    the like`s of Alex and Jimmy white brought the game alive

    and it was great to be able to watch him pull a game out of the bag from no

    where , and that guy could certainly drum up a hurricane of a game

    This is sad. :( My dad said that he's the reason why snooker became the most popular tv sports program.
