I'm looking for some fairly cheap hosting, where I can bang up unlimited sites, I gather this is called reseller hosting? I will also want to link between some of my sites, so I'll need seperate IP's for each site to stop G thinking I'm a link farm or spammer?

Can someone clarify if I'm on the right track, all the posts on here I've studied always revert to abbreviations I wana know if I'm buying what I need..

Unlimited accounts usually suggests large overselling is taking place which will often lead to poor performance. Be warned :)

You can achieve your requirement for multiple sites through most hosting control panels although using a reseller will allow you to have individual accounts each having their own control panel which can be a benefit should you wish to move sites about or decide to sell one off at a later date.

Separate IP's will be your block, as you will have no doubt seen on many tech news sites, the IPv4 address space is getting to critical capacity levels and whilst you have always needed justification for IP's the validation process is getting tougher than ever. "Please can I have 10 IP's so I can get high rankings on Google" is unlikely to be acceptable these days.

If you really want to hide the fact that you are a link farm, then get multiple accounts with multiple providers then you will get a good diverse range of IP's.

Thanks mate very helpful, you raised some good points. I'll price up having seperate accounts with different providers
