Trying to access the CPanel of a couple of sites I have on there but when I go to webhostingbuzz.co.uk I'm just getting:

    This webpage is not available

    ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.

My sites are still up though?

    Anyone else having problems?

There was an email 2 days ago from them...

There's more, but this is the 1st paragraph.

Thanks, just found that, must have missed it.

Seems very sudden and a bit of a shambles. Been thinking of moving away from them for a while, I think now might be the time to do it.

They do seem to have lost the plot in recent months!

Quite like the re-brand name though. Better than WebhostingBuzz by miles imo.

Indeed, though operating from a .co.uk to expand into the European market seems a little illogical. You'd be better off with a .com backed by a .eu imo.

"we are changing our name to Jolt.co.uk with a firm focus on the European market"

It does seem to be badly thought out and hastily done. The website is incomplete and still refers to WebHostingBuzz rather than Jolt in loads of places.

They went from being good to being terrible! So I moved everything (apart from my ecom sites) across to Vidahost who have been good (discount code: ACORN10 gives you 10%)

And yeah that line about focusing on EU market but on a .co.uk made me think the same, they seem to be a mess now and I'd actively avoid them!

Different needs, different expectations, every large host will always have their customers which hate them or love them.

The problem for most companies especially when it involves services that every joe blogs may not be understand completely ( like Hosting ) is that transition between being a small, personal hosting company that care about every client.....to then growing to a point where that personal touch isnt as easy to retain.

Thats where you either have great planning or you rub a good selection of people up the wrong way which is probably where Buzz has stumbled a little.

On the up side, they are a company that are growing, Good for them.

well it was sorted very swiftly, I think about 4 weeks and a very understanding developer on hand

it wasn't a problem that my site wasn't communicating with its host site via an API it was the denial and lack of interest that Vidahost shown over time.

Since moving to Jolt, have you given up with live chat or email support? Sent an email this morning and no reply, despite the site claiming 24/7 support..
