Attorney.mobi didn't sell on sedo the other day for $20k + as the seller wasn't selling, someone else was trying to!
ATTENTION: AUCTIONED THIS DOMAIN BY SEDO IS UNDER DISPUTE!
see what they have to say by clicking above link........
any comments sedo? i know you don't work weekends, so maybe Monday?
It is worrying i have to say. I wish the checks on buyers & sellers were MORE stringent.
    cheers, Predator

    Thanks for the heads up...

Appears their is a lack of due dilligence taking place...

What makes me laugh lately, are the domaining co's out there talking like they are equity market professionals...

Bolks... Their will have to be a lot of growing up before that happens...

    EXACTLY!!!

    Couldn't of said it better...

How about Sedo shutting the non-paying f**kers accounts down too...
Bit better than saying 'we tried to contact etc, etc...

Amount of time that happens is rediculous...

Yeah, i'm obviously concerned on my big sale, but have had non-payers twice before. Taking card details etc is a good idea, but they check one way now by just texting people, that's crazy.
I am gonna ring sedo Monday to check what checks they have & are doing, particularly on big sales.

Can you post their answer for us...

Sure others will want to konw the response to that...

TBH - Acorn has a better system in place...
If someone messes you around, you can submit a trader rating accordingly...
Others can then see the score and avoid the sh*t-list...

Dont know about this domain but I have got to say I dealt with Sedo the other day after I made a "mistake" and they dealt with it very fairly and professionally, so I myself have got to give them their due.

Who gives a fcuk whether a .mobi is sold or not. In my opinion any .mobi is useless except a few. Why in the hell I try to look at a 1 cm X 2 cm cell phone screen and look for a lawyer. If I need a lawyer there are bunch of other ways to find those scukers.

Only map.mobi or a few others may worth some money.

I think you missed the point somewhat. If you read the thread, it doesn't matter what extension was being sold, it was the fact that somebody was misrepresenting themselves as the seller. We want tighter measures for buyers & sellers.

I did take your point. What I say is that people will realize the impact of pumping of .mobi soon. People who made smart moves through 1995 to 1998 and registered .coms .co.uks but that is not same in today's world.

anyway good luck with the .mobi, we need fools to maintain internet business.
