Feedback appreciated as to the value of AutoFinancing.co.uk
Not a great deal of value here due to the non-use of the term 'auto' when referring to motor vehicles in the UK.
Well isn't Auto Trader the #1 car magazine in the UK?
Thanks for the feedback.
I am a bit puzzled on this one as I don't live in the UK. I must admit I didn't realize the language usage was so different from the US when I acquired the domain.
"Car Finance" seems to be the most popular term - is that correct?
"car financing" only yields about double the usage as "auto financing", and there are indeed quite a few UK based sites using the term "auto financing" or "auto finance", including this company, for example:
I'm trying to figure out if I have a dud here, or if it's just a second-tier name. And in either case, I'd appreciate any insights as to what the market value is if I try to sell it, which I may be interested in doing.
yes there is value in the name but has firestars pointed out we tend to use the word "carfinancing",i fell into the trap of using auto for a forum and 80% of my type through traffic comes via the states (analytics),if somebody was to ask for an appraisal on here with "carfinancing" or "autofinancing" ,imo the car finance would be more attractive for an end user in the uk.
auto financing fetched 6,160,000 in google
auto financing google uk fetched only 57,000
What Auto do you drive?
I drive a Chrysler Sebring convertible
I'd agree that it's not a 'native' UK expression, but probably worth hanging on to.
It's a bit like FagsByPost.com ....... would mean distinctly different things on each side of the 'pond'
Just as a guildline I have Autosearch registered to me. As pointed out in this thread Auto has a limited use here in the UK.
In saying that, still a good name and Sedo valued Autosearch at 4.5k nearly three years ago.
