Looking on google the yankee doodles seem to prefer the term 'motorcycle' but as far as I can see they also refer to a motorbike as a motorbike. Surprisingly they also seem to spell both terms 'correctly'.

    thanks

Thanks Grant....that would make sense ie. preferring motorcycle given I have the motorbike version!!! So do you think I should have the .com's as world sites (emphasis on america) then having those sites linking through to the UK sites. Host the .com's on a US server?

    motorbikeinsurance.co.uk
    motorbike-insurance.co.uk
    motorbike-insurance.com
    motorbikeinsurance.com
    motorcycle-insurance.co.uk
    motorcycleinsurance.co.uk

    Others for interlinking:-

    rentinsurance.co.uk
    rent-insurance.co.uk
    indemnityinsurance.co.uk
    indemnity-insurance.co.uk
    tenantinsurance.co.uk
    tenant-insurance.co.uk
    mortgage-insurance.co.uk
    mortgageinsurance.co.uk
    vaninsurance.co.uk
