I have scheduled the domain Wales dotorg.dotuk to go live on domainlore monday 1st nov @ 7pm

It's a '£ needs must' scenario for me so hopefully I will get a decent sale price.

    No starting price, no reserve.

    Bold move or stupid?

Hopefully a bold move for you

There are buyers on DL so anyone seeing the value and potential should hopefully dip their hands in their pockets for you

Only alternatives are to wait for a buyer to approach you or go out and spend time marketing.

If funds are needed it's hopefully a good move. At no reserve you will at least sell this :)

I've had the name for a couple of years and not done anything with it nor tried to sell

The 'no reserve' bit should at least get the ball rolling .....

It'll find it's value - wouldn't make any difference to the final price whether you start it at £1 or a couple of grand

Best of luck - hope you get a price you're happy with!

Cheers Brewsters. Agree, If there's enough awareness of the auction then it should do

So, the auction has begun on DL ...

Lots of traffic as expected (diverted dns to point to DL)

Bids so far to £500 (thanks guys!)

    I don't think I mentioned previously that it has PR4 ...

You need to get the news out to the right market, don't sit back and hope for the best.
