Just caught CumbriaHolidays.co.uk
Any thoughts on value or ideas on development?
Very good monetising potential, undev'd maybe £100 to £150
Thanks for that, I would have hoped for a bit more. I am sure I saw a very similar domain for Cornwall or Kent change hands for a bit more recently but cannot remember where.
I think developing would yield good money long-term, just the usual case of actually doing something.
Any other opinions...
I had it in my catch list and removed it due to the lack of other registered extensions, so my valuation at the time was less than reg fee I'm afraid. It did look nice when I added it to my shortlist though.
Maybe you were thinking of DevonHolidays.co.uk which sold last year for £821? Although the difference is that the Devon version apparently gets far more searches...
[devon holidays] = 4,400
[cumbria holidays] = 210
It's memorable though, so I think doodlebug is about right with valuation if you can find someone to buy it.
Edit: It was advertised on this forum for £30 and there were no takers.
So it looks like I need to develop it a bit, ideas?
Holidays in cumbria?
Obviously, but what method.
