    I have just regged:

    jubileesouvenirs.co.uk
    jubileememorabilia.co.uk
    diamondjubileehats.co.uk
diamondjubileehats.com - regged com as global opportunities

Assuming no TM's what are they worth?

    Thanks

    Aiden

This is the link you need:

    http://www.ipo.gov.uk/tm/t-find/t-find-text/

Type diamond and jubilee into the trademark text fields. Interestingly, you will see some major companies have applied for trademarks, and have statuses "Late objection raised" and "Withdrawn".

The question you need to answer is, "Is anyone allowed to produce and sell a Diamond Jubilee pencil"?

    Great stuff, thanks accelerator

So to me it looks like a site selling hats, flags, t-shirts etc would be ok. The next thing is too find affiliate programs and put a site or two up, ideally someone else will see the potential in these names and buy them off me asap.

Or am I misinterpreting it and it in fact means the TM's are that tight you simply can't use them?

    Thanks again

    Aiden

You’d have no problem with a trade mark( maybe sticking the queens head all over the site might get you some trouble though lol )... But its a limited and quick in and out market though for the main one I can think of you’d need a site up quick to maximise any potential... Not sure if it would have much luck after this year...

    Thanks namealot

I agree that they are time limited, I have put them up for sale for a quick flip but if no interest I will get something up next week. The jubilee souvenirs and memorabilia may have a little longer shelf life but time will tell.

    Thanks for your comment

If you are intending to spend a lot of time, or money on this, do bear in mind that for someone of 85, six months is quite a long time.........

There is an element of risk, which should not be ignored.

    Lol :p

Are you suggesting she may not make it to June?

If I end up doing the site it will be a quick one designed to move product quickly, I must check hat suppliers see if they like the name.
