Yes, it sold in Franks auction for £750 which was the highest bid, but we don't know what the settled on price was.

Sounds like a bit of a gamble! Hopefully he made a bit of profit on it.

Well chuffed he made a profit on it as I wanted to make sure that people got good deals when they bought my names in that auction :)

Id like to say it was a savvy move on my part

I actually had second thoughts about my £750 bid the morning after, not that I didn't think it was a good price but I need some liquid funds atm for a project so shouldn't be tying up money.

But I knew I should comfortably get my money back on domainlore. if not hopefully a bit more, and it all turned out well :p

Cucumber was on my short list of ones I was considering bidding on. I was considering going to 1k on the auction... so more than you paid but less than you sold it for.

It'll be interesting to see if anyone else attempts a quick domain lore flip, and whether they gain or lose money on it.

At least 5 names which sold in my auction have been listed on there so far :) I cannot comment on whether they have made a profit or a loss as it isn't my place to comment that, but some are still running now too.

In other news, here is my auction part 2 http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/domai...part-2-weddingplanners-freshen-academics.html
