Seems like a booming niche this one. Nice sale. :)

A lot of this type of jewllery sells for £100+ per piece.

Nice ROI I'm sure, if you can get it to work.

Still interesting to see a 3 word EMD go for that sort of price though (especially on a predominantly reseller platform)

Yes very nice sale congratulations, must of had at least 3/4 end users bidding on this, hence the higher than normal price for domains on DL.

Thanks guys, I knew it would be popular, but I didn't expect it to be that popular. The buyer runs one of the top-ranking online sites for this niche, and I'm assuming most of the other bidders are the same. I think it goes to show that high quality EMDs are still valuable, especially brandable ones which this certainly is. Also a little bit of leg work to contact potential end users works nicely, even with DL auctions.

If the buyer is the owner of the .com, this currently redirects to the hyphened .co.uk

Why not just use the .com as the main site?

I would assume they were losing type-in traffic to the non hyphenated .co.uk?

Your point falls flat at the first "if"!! I was 99% sure it was going to turn out to be them, but surprisingly it isn't.

I wondering if the .com owner was in the bidding and that's what drove the price up?!
