Thanks for the link, interesting - must say I was confused reading about the drop catching, but then read the line stating they see no point in pursuing it!
Interesting, but over three years old now.
does it matter how old it is? just shows 3 years ago nominet classed it as domaining and domainers
Ironically, domain front running seemed to exist around the time of the report - Network Solutions for example had to settle a class action suit about the practice
DNFR is just a common aspect of human behaviour amongst those that will cheat, only the technology changes. Think of shares, insider deals, buying a house, etc etc. Knowing how much somebody else whats that item/thing/ makes us want it all the more. Sad but true...and assuming that data is not mined is simply naive....topical case in point: Facebook.
