I've had a couple of people interested in this one over the last couple of months.

I've just had an offer for £1000 (up from £500) which after you take out vat and sedo fees leaves only £750ish

I've made a final offer of £1,350 (after vat & fees is about £1000) does that sound about right? I'm starting to think it's too low now:(

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers

I guess it's value is in getting people to visit to see a whole load of lovely homes one of which they hopefully subsequently buy.

or maybe advertising an architect or interior designers portfolio.

I don't know anything about property selling and can't see too much value in the second, so from my point of view price is ok.

probably 1.5k would make me feel all right if it were mine to sell.

    Got it!

    Paul,

If you could wait for some more time to generate more traffics, then you could expect offers of 5+ K.

At the moment ,you can get it what you expect easily.

thanks for the reply yesterday, I was thinking more along the lines of a central resource for house builders, free basic listing and paid listing if they want to add more details.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea. Think I'll keep it:)

I've got it on my list to develop but it's at about 50th place at the moment so it may take a little time to get to.:)

This is an excellent domain for a housebuilder to use to advertise its new houses. If you consider how much a new house costs and how much profit can be made on a single house, I think you could set your target price much higher. 5k (maybe more) would not be unreasonable, but you would have to put in the leg work to achieve this (like contact all the top UK housebuilders and tell them you are selling it to the highest bidder).

Alternatively, it has development potential. Just create a site where housebuilders can upload photos and details of their new homes and charge them a set fee. I expect there is some mileage in a website focused on new build homes.

Either way, it's a winner! Nice domain.
