4 word .org.uk.... i am not seeing any value in it. Plus the fact the only people who may be interested in buying it would be fellow domainers and they can be a right tight bunch ;)

I also think if you were using it as a platform to sell domains, then the .org.uk extension doesn't really do it any favours IMO. Had this been the 4 word .co.uk or even .com i still wouldn't see much value in it really as a 4 word domain being used as a platform to sell other domains wouldn't give me much faith in the quality of the domains being sold there. But a 4 word .org.uk being used as a platform to sell domains, certainly as a domainer i wouldn't expect to find much there.

Although we are seeing better .org.uk sales in the last year or so, it is mostly the premium ones that are gaining any momentum.

I appreciate what you're saying, I really do, but I think most people who search for something look at the title and description in the results, I don't think they'd spend too much time analysing the quality of the domain, how many words it has, or whether its a .co.uk, etc.

I think they'd search for something, and click on the results that seem to give them what they want.

In my mind if you have good quality domains to sell, what better to do than put them on a domain that could quite easily get itself right under the noses of the people looking to buy them.

There's nothing to stop people having 20 websites all selling the same stuff, but aimed at different keywords to get the maximum exposure possible, in which case this could be a useful addition to the armoury.

But I do agree about it appealing mainly to domainers and them being a tight bunch :D

Fair enough i can agree it could still make for a useful site and appropriate name to sell domains from but i was appraising its value as a domain and i still dont think that really adds much value in terms of if you were looking to sell it.

    Maybe 50 quid on domainlore!
