Lots of people here worried about the .UK consultation, but I all I see is most of them toting portfolios with hundreds (or thousands even) of worthless domains - it would actually be a blessing in disguise for them to drop. In fact some are so bad I cringe at the thought of some poor bastard ever parting with cash for them - how are these people still in business selling domains with all the renewal fees - it must be some sort of parttime hobby and became millionaires long ago. Me..? wtf do I know you say, fair enough, but i've easily wasted over £10,000+ on crap domains in the last 10 years and would say I only own a handful of good domains now - the rest are just speculation for dev - probably worthless.. but at least I'm not completely deluded in their value. What I'm saying is .UK could be a good or bad thing, but what ever happens it doesn't change the fact: you can polish a turd all you want, but it's still a turd at the end of the day.
