Did anyone else like the Magic Wand Idea? Any domainers buying domains as a result of the show?

BTW I have owned PetCreche.com for sometime, so could come in handy for the likes of those girls offering Dog Creche services!

I too was surprised that no-one mentioned IP protection. Or where the product came from on the show.

The dragons need slaying and replacing.

Yet again they had a go at young entrepreneurs, and went easy on older fools.

Those guys from merseyside had a decent idea, ok it would have been copied ten fold from people just on acorn, but still a good idea.

They had brought a developed site to the table, not looking for much investment, and the dragons never even looked at the value of the software, expertese and future businesses these two could have produced.

Time to go, although I would like to see Duncan on a few other shows :)

It's just a survival blanket shaped differently. A better one would be a whole body suit like a 90's raver - been so cold riding that you can't turn a key in a lock (had to ask my neighbour), and it's not nice - recon that might work...?

I remember 2 or 3 years ago, Theo invested six figures in what was basically an online gambling affiliate portal - can't remember what the name was but it was a .co.uk - as usual I checked to see if they also had the .com - they didn't and someone got it about 1 minute before I checked.

Remember, this was a Dragon shelling out 6 figures to some supposedly net savvy couple, and neither party over the ensuing months from recording to airing the show, had thought to secure the .com

Another point - who ever told Peter Jones he was funny??

Ah yes, Gaming Alerts. He surely wasted his Children's inheritance on that investment.

That seemed like the easiest money. They already have the product, relatively good distribution and a source to manufacture it in quantity. A few Dragon phonecalls and bingo, there's truckloads of the things heading to outdoor/camping stores all over the country...
