you might want to change that pricing mate, it works out cheaper to lease for 2 x 6 months than it does 1 x 12 months????

    450 * 2 = 900 $
    12 month = 999 $
Yes UncleBob because payment will be made for one year - one payment same thing for 1, 3 or 6 month.
    Logic made a discount
But this details establish with the client

    UncleBob is right.

12 months should be cheaper than 2 x 6 months?

But it would be cheaper to rent 2 x 6 months than 1 x 12 months which makes no sense; it should be a scale downwards encouraging long term lease. This lack of financial awareness would seriously put me off considering it, sorry.

Agreed, but that is entirely the buyers/leasers decision based possibly on business model. What isn't however is a lack of grasp on the fees and understanding of a sliding scale.

I think he was pointing out you might have made a mistake. Why would I rent for 12 months for $999 when I can rent for 12 months for $900? Also be careful you don't trip - I think you might have dropped a name :p

I would also question motives for anyone wanting to rent a domain for 1 month regardless of the price.

Surely 12 months would be the starting point - just to play it on the safe side.
