    Hi

I know it is hyphanated but I am wondering if its worth anything on its own or worth getting a site put together first.

    Any advise is appreciated

    Thanks in advance

Not what you would want to hear but I honestly don't think it's worth anything on it's own and I don't think it's worth putting a site together either. Too many hyphens just make it impossible for anyone to type in.

Yes to many hyphens for people to bother with, Google is good at seperating words in hyphenated names but for example home-owner-loans.co.uk would be seperated into home owner loans where as e-s-s-e-x.co.uk would be seperated into individual letters and google wouldn't string them together as a word.
You see things like l-o-a-n-s.co.uk and c-o-m-p-u-t-e-r-s.co.uk dropping all the time, There is a reason.

Not really worth much, stick in here and test it Free Domain Appraisal, Domain Valuation and Keyword Research Tool

I thought it would not be worth much, I guess thats why I have not done anything with it yet :)

I might add a site to it and see what happens, it may be worth something with some traffic I guess.

    Thanks

    Not even that...

I wouldn't waste your time or money on this one. You could reg a better name than this to develop.

Maybe rather than dropping it, put it up for auction on Ebay.

Saying that I may keep it as I am thinking about using it to host a Facebook app, there will be less need to type the domain in the browser that way and it can be monetized.

I really would just cut your losses on this one. I can't see anyone buying it. I would just move on to the next one.
