The .co.uk has a membership of 17,000 estate agencies around the UK. The .com therefore has MASSIVE POTENTIAL and credibility as the country code is used and the .com is arguably better..well it is better.

    www.estateagencynews.co.uk

Ideal for a publishing company/estate agent/put up a links page with google ad-words.

    £x,xxx offers

Aren't you the one who thinks I'm offering a .co.uk in the 'Top Level Domains For Sale or Wanted' section....

since when has .co.uk been a top level domain??

Worth considerably more than you could pay probably!

    Estate Agency News

    Potential uses = 1
    Potential end users = 0 / 1

    You see

Estate Agency News has been published in paper form, monthly since 1986 - 20 years.

You cannot set up another similar publication, either in paper form, or online - with exactly the same name regardless of whether they have a TradeMark or not.

OPG have established their right to use that name over 2 decades.

It's not normal for publishers to apply for trademarks as they have all the physical evidence and copyrights they need to prove their rights.

What would you think would happen if I started a publication called HAM&HIGH and started giving it out free at Hampstead station - I wouldn't have a leg to stand on in Court and that's where I'd be within 7 days.

All you can do with a domain like this, is park it. Whatever revenue it receives, times it by 3 and that's what it's worth. If OPG approach you for it, you may get a bit more

    Wow georgiou82 has made a post on Lex's thread, I didn't expect that. :D

Not that surprising really considering that most of their domains have the same name (Aaron Georgiou), address and phone number.

I'm not saying it's not a nice domain, it is!

But when selling anything, houses, cars, magazines, clothes - the first thing you must do is identify your target audience - something you clearly haven't done.

In fact you've even gone all the way and bought your stock (said domain name) without even thinking about who might want to buy it. This is criminal in the business world.

IMO it's uses are extremley limited as I've indicated earlier and your not going to find your big money end user lurking on this forum.

If you honestly beleive you can get more than £100 for it - spend a little time researching your market, get your sales pitch finely tuned and get out there with your A-Z and sell it.

This business is full of dreamers - so don't feel as though you're on your own.

Do they not have a business studies course at your school - even if you can't get on it, it'd be a good idea to speak to someone.
