When your looking at keywords/domains do you have a minimum exact keyword search volume you look to exceed?

What is the minimum you would look at to be worth puchasing the domain?

I tend to dismiss everything < 1000, however don't automatically register everything >= 1000. I look at various other factors in addition to the search volume...

e.g. pencase.co.uk returns 1600 on local, exact search volume in July, however I haven't/wouldn't register it.

I like to see a minimum of 1000 searches per month, the more the better, but I'm quite happy to register a name I like and can use even if it has 300 - 500 searches per month and is in a nice niche area.

exactly what he said ^^,i would rather have low search volume and high cpc,to buy something on the strength of having million searches for something pointless or having 500 searches in something like "IVA's" then i would choose the latter.
