    I don’t actually own a specific one for anyone to appraise but what sort of value would people put on the name of a famous person as a domain. For example, a premiership footballer who is fairly well known. Use for example RobinVanPersie.com purely as a domain (I don’t own this). How much is this worth?

    And what are the legal implications around this? Could Van Persie at any point claim a right to that domain and take it off you for nothing?

    well yes it could be a bit dodgy. have a look at Nominets site (or search through here) as I think there was a DRS involving waynerooney.co.uk

    Yes there certainly was he had to pay £6000 in legal fees as far as I remember and surrender the name
