    yes 100% right. only organised events should be allowed to use them.

    in some countries they don't sell to the public and only have organised events (south africa for instance)

    maybe our goverment should do something descent and ban them then like other countries.

    I have a large aviary full of birds and an old dog that all hate the numpties setting of loud fireworks at this time of year, even if they could reduce the noise they make so as not to send animals crazy with fear would be an improvement.

    yes it is upsetting for animals etc so i just cannot see why they are legal.

    bloody hell..... get a grip! They're just fireworks!!! If people can't use them properly then ..tough luck! DON'T BAN FIREWORKS!!

    "They're upsetting for animals..." blimey what about the poor homeless people starving on the streets...maybe they could eat the scared animals???

    they are a waste of money, very noisy, people use then for the wrong reason ie being a flippin nuisance, pets hate them, young children hate them and so on...i could go on.

    just my opinion :)

    I agree that they are a waste of money..... however banning them is too ridiculous to contemplate in an adult society! seriously!

    Firework displays are however much more entertaining!! Alexandra Palace does a good one!

    no i mean the public should be banned from buying them and local councils should have displays on it there town or organised local events. i would rather pay £10 to go to an organsied event rather then £10 for a box of shite and upset the neighbours...
