Would be interested to know this too. Does anyone know who's in charge of acquiring domains for Amazon?

Details of who possibly sold it elsewhere. Start searching with Twitter.

I highly doubt there's one person. There'll likely be a project and then a decision based in respect of a perceived need and then a contact made to a Comlaude type company to see if an acquisition from a third party registrant can potentially be achieved. I feel it's likely that they don't want CH's panties, {cough} I mean p/a/n/t/r/y domain name.

Thanks, I will have a look later on.

I have a nice generic that matches the name of one of their main growth categories. The chances of them wanting to acquire it are probably nil, but stranger things have happened!
