I'm sure the concert will be excellent
i like the comments on the link
good luck
I liked the original band, apart from Axel whos left?
Briefly bumped into Slash on Charing X road when they where playing the Marque must have been about 92'. Dont think anyone had heard of them then
By 1992 they'd risen and fallen. I think UYI 1&2 were 1992 (maybe 91?). They were probably the biggest band in the world around 1990. (The UK import of AfD was 1997).
I'm afraid the bloated outfit touring with the bloated Axl really just isn't Guns.
(As a purist, you could say even the AfD lineup wasn't really, because by then they'd replaced Tracii Gun with Slash, Tracii forming LA Guns, of course.)
I don't think Chinese Democracy will ever get released, either.
Damn that is along time ago. Would have been 89' they played the Marquee in London. That makes me feel old
Shame LA Guns cant make a comeback as ive got http://www.laguns.co.uk
Supposed to say 1987, of course. (And that's the one with the original sleeve, rather than the 'skulls in a cross' re-release.)
I've got two standing tickets for the gig in at the MEN in Manchester.
PM if anyones interested. Face Value.
Should think all there fans are now old enough to only be interested in seating tickets close to the toilets
