    Hi.

The standard is normally upto 36 x Monthly revenue so I would say around 5k-7k.

Thank you for your reply D. Much appreciated.

Does the content not play a factor in the price also?

I'd say it was worth more than 36 months of earnings, because if your databases are truly your own compilations, you'd command a premium for your intellectual property.

Thanks azooza. Yes the databases are definitely my own and are intellectual property. It has taken years to build the databases to what they are today. No outside databases are used on the site.

Would anyone on here be interested in purchasing the site?

Yes, I'm sure they would, but you'd have to be prepared to open up your asset to substantial scrutiny, and most members here wouldn't want to be paying an end-user price ;)

So I would be taking a hit if I were to sell on here. What would you expect me to receive if someone here was interested (ball park)?

I agree boozt. I do have 3 members who are showing an interest but the problem I have is that they are genealogists and not web designers/programmers etc. The majority of them do not know how to run or maintain a website such as this.
