    Hi All

anyone point me in the direction of a program that takes the suffix .co.uk

off a bulk list of names either from text or excell format.

I was wondering if there was a command in excel ?

John, just use a text editor like EditPlus and search and replace. Replace with "nothing".

Whether it's Word or Excel, do a Find & Replace.

If they're already on seperate lines:
    Find: .co.uk
Replace: (leave the cell blank, nothing entered)

I have created a text manipulator program which will strip everything after a certain character, and it's faster than notepad!
It also can append/suffix lists, to produce FQDN's as well!

    :D

Like my other bulk checker project, I will add stuff to it from time to time...
