Just looking for thoughts on this one.

LPG "liquefied petroleum gas" and LNG "liquefied natural gas" has been around for sometime but now coming into shape due to resources running out.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liquified_petroleum_gas

I thought it was worth a punt for £6.00

    Thanks, Darren.

Are there any more thoughts on this? Ive noticed theres a company running an ad campaign on this subject.

Is this worth me spending time on developing a mini-site?

    Thanks in advance, Darren.

The problem with this one has already been highlighted by Pendragon. I reckon my spelling is, on the whole, very good, but I would have gone for liquified rather than liquefied.

The high chance of misspelling the domain name will of course reduce it's potential value.

liquefied produces more google results than liquified.

All searches related to LND spell it liquefied.

    Thanks for the comments.

That may be true, but according to http://www.keyworddiscovery.com/search.html there are more searches related to the liquified spelling, than liquefied.

    From http://www.bloomsbury.com/ARC/detail.asp?entryid=96054&bid=4 :

    "liquefy or liquify?
Both spellings of this word are acceptable, although the first is generally preferred."

...however...as its turning something into a liquid and not a liqued I suspect the latter will win out eventually I'm afraid Darren. You need an English purist to sell it to!

    Nick.

Even the Wiki entry changes on it's way through...

"Liquefied natural gas or LNG is natural gas that has been converted to liquid form for ease of storage or transport. Liquified natural gas takes up about 1/600th the volu"

    ;)
