It's worth buying decent letters/words in my opinion. More of a long term investment I'd say but I have sold a few myself.

As rob would say, more long term speculation than investment, I think you shouldn't bother, leave them to the speculators.

Too true Grant, there are no decent LLL .org.uk combinations left to register anymore! Time to grab.

I think if I saw someone make the effort to mop up 4% of all known LLL.org.uk's in the past 12 months Hari, i'd class that as an investment. ;)

    I guess I'm a speculator ;) I have a few (including lll.org.uk :p), but I haven't done anything with them as yet - they get traffic though.

Worth it for ones where there is an obvious correlation to potential non-profit buyers, or where there may be webmaster interest.

A word such as 'car', 'bed', 'hat', or a combination of letters with an obvious meaning, such as 'led', 'hiv', 'hrt', those types I'd say.

I'm probably doing myself out of money making this post.

There are a lot of VERY INTERESTING LLN .org.uk domains waiting to be bought. You just need the thought process that makes them monetizable.

Gwon, ring my bells if you think you can benefit. Nobody loves me ... I need the cred ...

    Hi

I have a few LLL.org.uk's and will be developing these, good to develop if you get the right acronym, lately I have found that generic keyword .org.uk's work very well. I have a nice income from some of these but I have still found some great LLL.org.uk's like the below

    http://hdv.org.uk/

Although most the good ones have gone you can still find a few expiring that can be used effectively.
