I tend not to read the posts about Nominet on this board because a) they go on and on forever and b) I just dont give a sh1t

However, its clear from scanning through the posts and reading messages like this that Nominet really dont have a clue and couldnt find their arse with both hands.

Give them credit, they are too busy trying to figure out what to do with the millions of excess capital they are sitting on to see something like that ;)

It would be easy to collect info on where the domains end up - the usual 'follow the money' way :)

If people dig about acorn I am sure there are a few older related tags with some interesting names caught that have since been moved :)

Hasn't the baker one come up before last time this happened?

I can't be arsed to search right now, but it sounds familiar.

Maybe it's just red tape i.e. under the rules of Nominet your girlfriend can be a Nominet Member and have a DAC?

However can two Nominet members live at the same address? I also hear Nominet is also asking for ID from members like this.

Also you can give them the Dropcatching script to use just like DAC Hosting and .uk Drop Catching Solutions from RTL do?

You can even sell the names and transfer them between you?

The only thing you can't do is link the DACs for lookups? Maybe Nominet only check this from the DAC log.

Do I get the impression the voting allocations list is now being well and truly trawled after EGM2? Stable doors and horses bolting and all that ;)

I think we will have to wait until there is another vote - so we can count the number of members on that voting allocation and compare it to the number of members on the EGM2 voting allocation. If we post it now they will shout "where's the evidance?".

I get hit with this too.

Please remove your references to specific named tags from your posts before I get them all knocking on my door.

    Thanks

That would be interesting - names to faces and all that :)

Or would it be one person representing various women?! :)

Since when did having the title "miss" mean you're single? Some people are too quick to draw their own conclusions without facts or evidence on this forum.

I'm thinking of a 4 letter word, starts with T and also ends in T (has an 'a' and a 'w' in it somewhere), reminds me of you whenever I think of it.

Here comes J2 with his pithy northern dialect again...and to think this is the toned down version :???:

What kind of evidence you need? You expect those ladies to come to the Acorn and make a thread "Looking for a date who has a DAC script to catch .co.uk names". Who cares whether they are married or single or some kind of mormon poligamy". The only fact here is that alot of seemingly legit but bogus miss or mrs TAGs appear. That is it.

By the way are you the first one who always defend these TAGs. You have a "legit" DAC system with alot of customers. why in the hell do you still try to defend those TAGs.

I don't suggest you to think TurNIC when you think "that". You just go to toilet and try to find your arse. A tip: unlike normal people yours is just under your mouth!.

We Turks don't go twist like Northerners with tartan kilts on your belly!
