Hello,

I have 50+ sites, and I would love to rent/loan them out, see if anyone can make any money with them. I'll give you a year, then I want to be able to take the site back, or sell it for what I can get for it.

As an example, these domains I have had for year, script all sorted, it just needs someone to come along and do something with them.

Anyone?

What would be in it for anyone who you loaned the site to?

They build it up and then you take it back!

You build it up, you make the money from Ads and everthing else 100% profit for you, from all your work, for 1 year you get to make what you can from the website, I still own the domain name.

If you turn in to a profitable website, maybe you'll buy it after the year, if not, then it reverts back to me, and I get to sell it on, or whatever.

As this forum is mainly used by domainers, it's not the lack of domains that are holding people back, but the ability/resources to develop and make money from them.

An interesting proposition, but I don't think this is he best forum to be suggesting it on.

The problem is that any designer or developer looking at those sites would strip them completely and do a new design.

At that point, they may as well just create their own site from scratch.

Never any harm in asking. I have many other websites. I make an income now, but would love to sell up or see something done with them.

Oh well no harm in trying..

A better way to "tease" someone in to buying a domain may be to rent the domain out for a year free but also agree to them having the first option to buy at a modest fixed price after that year or it returns to you.

To be honest i don't think that anyone would do it so what you get a year

big deal , the sort of person that may be interested in such a deal

will be some one who has the time , so think about it ,

in plain terms what you are asking is , you apply your resources to redevelop

and seo etc etc 50 sites then just when they have got earning

you want to take take them back , sell them , and profit the most with doing the

least work , not fair .

what is fair is as follows , find someone to develop then establish the worth now of the sites , then anything that the sites are sold for you split the money 50 - 50 above the agreed value

and also after 1 year you split any earnings 50-50 after costs are deducted

thats a fair deal

warm wishes Steve

Feel free to PM the ones that already have sites on (or just post them in the thread?).

Yes, something along these lines would seem to make more sense.

So your saying give away what they make in a year of SEO work and split the sales 50/50?

If your any good at SEO you can make alot in a year of SEO with a bunch of domain names (I know as I have, I just want to get out of it all now) you could even manage the level they make so they look like they are crap and buy them from me at a cheap rate, then really go for it.

But promising to sell them and 50/50 the price after I have made nothing for a year?

Thats seems like too much of a gift.

75/25 maybe..

Someone asked for a list, this is roughly it...

I've never seen such a pile of tat and it's an insult to people's intelligence that they woud even touch them..

Thank you. Small minds and alike.

I generated an income from them as it stands, but I want out, I've been doing this for over 10 years, and I am tired of it. I've owned some of the same names that long as well.

Never any harm in asking like I said.
