Yes AD is well ranked in Google these days. We have changed the thread title now and hopefully it will flush out during the next spider visit.

Or second on the UK search, above namedrive.co.uk. Credit to Admin's SEO skills.

    Thanks for amending it Admin.

AD are #1 and #2 for Namedrive in Google UK :)

We have been in contact with Ed since the post and he wasn't overly concerned about it as there are so many people here ready to publicly stick up for ND that it isn't too much to worry about.

I am sure he can get a lot of good references if he needs to satisfy anyone concerned by it.

    Thanks for changing that, Admin.

I generally hate to see threads deleted as that gives off a vibe of 'can't deal with it, push it under the carpet' rather than 'better than that and here's the proof', but I think the thread title was where most of the slander lay, so I asked for that to be changed.
Amazing it's so high up on Google. Perfect. No publicity is bad publicity, they say...

Thanks for all the support. I hope it shows anyone who does read the thread at the accusations are unfounded. Still wondering how he got our German telephone number when it hasn't been on the site for such a long time...

Who knows? It might even bring more members to Acorn too!

I add my name to the list of satisfied NameDrive customers.

In my opinion, NameDrive, you should accept AcornDomains offer to have your own forum heading like Sodo do.

    Hi aqls,

Thanks for the support. I can fully understand Sedo having their own area as they've been in the game for donkeys and we, despite all the good press, have only been here for 3 months.
The option of our own area was offered to us by Admin some time ago but we declined as we were still relatviely small and considered ourselves as 'Other' rather than a huge player in the market.
Now, with tens of thousands of UK names, we're beginng to realise the potential we always believed we had. At any rate, I suppose it's really up to the people of the board, or Admin to decide whether you want to see us sectioned off from 'Other'. I'd personally like to stay around in Other, I feel at home here, but I'd absolutely appreciate it if the users and owners of this forum feel we're intruding.
I'll leave it entirely up to you, the users and owners of this board. We'll post wherever we're put :)

    Ed

Great idea for NameDrive to have their own section, keeps all the NameDrive threads under one roof
