Just went on for the first time in about 2 weeks and it's all different from a buyers point of view , take a look if you've not been on recently

    BTW I don't like it :(

    WTF are .co.uk.net, .co.uk.com, .co.uk.org and .co.uk.ie :?:

I'm having a hard time performing even a simple search. Seems extremely slow and me.

    Not a fan.

    FFS

    Just checked it out
it's so unclear whats available and for sale as was before
    nightmare

also offering .ie registrations near top
dont you have to be a registered irish company to get an ie?

also, when a domain is 'available' , see where it takes you

older domainers will remeber sedo back at the start took you through to 1 and 1  to register free domnains via their affiliate link
    well, theyre doing it again!
the most hated registrar for domainers, and sedo are backingh them

sedo really do have some prized twats in charge

i think all in all they have made sedo a non sales venue. auction listings are near on impossible to find for uninitiated, also is never uptodate the top current listings of auctions
everything is so hard to find
thank god i only use my own sales sites and the bigger auctions

sedo is just an afterthought really these days

and goes without saying i don't use their stinking parking

A company suicide award if ever there was one. Thing is when idiots like Sedo go down, they blame the recession and it affects us all and the reseller prices of domains.

Never mentions the boardroom at Sedo whish includes of couple of death people chatting to a couple of blind people who are giving sign language to a mute in charge of it.

and they completely removed the "traffic" column, although you can still sort and filter by it I used to use that a lot.

Bin them from the promo Acorn gives them - or use the clout to get them to shape up for .UK'ers :)

I did suggest before that a group of us should meet with Sedo staff in order to put forward some constructive suggestions in the hope that we might be able to achieve a better platform for UK sellers. If anybody would like to join me I would be happy to meet with them at Sedo's London office - I did get an invite to do this previously but didn't yet act on it.

Depending very much on the timing, I'd be up for that.

    Excellent

I got another offer via PM. Anybody else before I start sorting out a day? Once confirmed I will start another thread on here in order to log people's issues/suggestions so that can ensure that there is some structure to the discussions.

I don't get why you would do that Stephen, people have told them over and over on here simple features that would make it a better place.

They never listen, just pay lip service to it. For example Admin's just given them one example, will it get sorted?

If they ain't going to listen on here then they ain't going to listen face to face. Good on you for trying but waste of time.

A simple message from Acorn telling them to shape up or ship out should help.

Why promote them to newbies on here when they are so bad?

I understand the cynicism but in my experience you get much better results if you take the trouble to speak to people. It might end up being a waste of time, but at the end of the day it is very much in our interests for Sedo to be an effective platform for UK domainers as I don't really see any alternative credible domain selling platform appearing soon.

We do listen and things have been changed.

We would be very grateful for your constructive feedback regarding the new search.

Please send me feedback regarding what you do / don't like.

    Kind regards

Take the idea onto Dragons den and point out all the neg rep Sedo get and ask them to finance you to start a new one.

They always say if you can take an old idea and make it better it can get you rich

I ain't trying to promote Namedrive here but least when you talk to James about features, he'll check it out and get back to you. All you have to do is MSN him with your ideas about how Namedrive can improve. He can take the criticism as well and he owns his own domains so knows where you are coming from. What I would say is if you write down your suggestions and give that list to Sedo and a copy of it to James, I'll bet you a £1 that more gets acted on by Namedrive.

    I 100% agree with Rob,

You can not be serious, please. This forum has been full for over a year with how to make things better.

Point your sedo.co.uk to a UK aimed site with .co.uk at the top, when was that ever listened to? Lots of people on here have suggested that before.
