a brand - unless the domain is the brand.
I can't believe its taken me so long to realise this..
I have seen quite a few online store using .co.uk/.com in their name recently which would back up your theory
At some point I would like to brand LowPrices.co.uk properly.
I really like domain names as brands. The main issue is that "branding" as such is really expensive, i.e. spending money just to tell someone a name. I guess you have to get the thinking cap out for cheap ways to do it, e.g. viral videos.
just opened one in chesterfield
is a big place on main drag, seem to be opening them up all over uk
the signage is huge and IS the domain name
AMEN!!! Fingers crossed many other companies will follow suit!!!
I think people need to study brands, brand names and branding 101
