    What does the average DRS cost the complainant ?

    If you submit it personally just its your time at the first stage if the respondent contests the complaint then I think its £750 to get an expert decision if it cant be sorted out via mediation

    larger companies tend to get solicitors to draft the complaint then it gets expensive

    The previous year Saint Kitts and Nevis were up there as one of the countries with the most cases. After a bit of Googling I've identified a single Registrant based in Nevis with 18,281 domain names registered according to the PRSS and on multiple tags that aren't the same as the Registrant. Might be them or it might not be them. I've no idea.

    The sussexmotorbikes.co.uk case is an interesting one. I'd like to have seen the websites involved to see how much "passing off" was going on.

    SussexMotorcycles.co.uk is an interesting case, because according to the Nominet expert, you can build up a trading reputation, and then have a right to a "[County] + [Business Type]" domain. That's interesting, because I would regard "[County] + [Business Type]" as fully generic, and not suitable for Trademark purposes.
