    Nominet's Board of Directors met on 22nd August 2006.

    TAG Change & Registrant Transfer Pricing Review

    The Board noted that the Registrant Services team has continued to make
    significant improvements to the processing of tag changes and registrant
    transfers and as a result, we are able to process these more quickly and
    efficiently. Following a review of the current costs of carrying out tag
    changes and transfers, the Board is pleased to announce a substantial
    reduction in the fees, which will take effect from 1st October 2006:

    Transaction New Fee Old Fee
    * Single tag change £10 + VAT £15 + VAT
    * Bulk tag change £15 + VAT £30 + VAT
    * Single registrant transfer £10 +VAT £30 + VAT
    * Bulk registrant transfer £22 + VAT £60 + VAT
    <end snip>

    It's a shame I didn't absorb fees into my prices, I'd have made more money this week.

    Correction, they just sent me £130 instead of £100, happy days. A month is a long way to hold it off though.

    Going any where nice Lee?

    £10 + VAT is a much better price from Nominet now - even if the form is now DIY.

    The paperwork is, I'm staying here. I will be going somewhere nice if I can get the money in though. I'm running out of time. Well I've actually got until end of December but I want to be somewhere by end of October.

    Might give some prospective clients for low value domains reason to accept instead of bottling out of deals. They're the ones paying the fees in the end...
