Is it good to have a personal domain for yourself in this kind of business?

Something like a signature, a domain you use to advertise you're other domains for sale, blogging, image hosting, etc.

    Thanks,

    Steve

I think it's definitely a good idea, yes. In fact, I've been trying to sort out a site such as this for myself.. but I'm having trouble finding a suitable name ;)

I think it helps make you feel more like a 'business' to have an official website. Obviously it helps if you're making money :???:

I was thinking the same thing! I've had a look round for a generic domain-orientated name for a central site but I haven't found anything yet - unless someone on AD has something suitable going cheap? ;-)
