yes.co.uk and yeg.co.uk have been renewed
May as well forget about prenoms, they're as good as finished now.
Don't say that I've only just started playing this game...
There's still ONE I've got my eye on (B******S) can't spell it out in full in case someone else goes for it and beats me to it.
Think you'll find business.co.uk isn't going to drop. (IMO anyway)
We've all been reliably informed it will be renewed...
Much the same as FL.co.uk was .
It wouldn't matter if fl.co.uk dropped in anycase, you wouldn't be able to register it again seeing as it is an LL.
business.co.uk is a Jersey/ Guernsey offshore company owned by WorldPay/ RBS.
How is that, Static?
Do you mean....

^ That wouldn't work Bluerock, as business.co.uk is a prenom. I think Static's on to something though!
Nobody reliably informed me, who was doing the informing?
I guess after today this really is it for pre noms?
Jersey Financial Services Commission - Companies Name Search - Business Details
See bottom left of page under 'previous names'.
PSINET JERSEY LIMITED will still have to go through this process though:
Nominet Transfer for Dissolved Companies
How long will Nominet give them?
PSINET Jersey dont exist either anymore
Oh yes they do, they're were taken over.
Exactly gentlemen. I rest my case.
Sorry Static, but i don't catch what you mean 'I rest my case."? Are you saying that they don't exist anymore? This isn't true, trust me!
PSINET Europe were bought by Blue Sky who in turn sold them to (or the UK arm anyhow) to Telstra.
From what im told (I worked there for 6 years) the Jersey entity is no longer.
Im sure there is a trail of legal paperwork that could be made available to transfer the domain with though.
But you seem to know more that me on the companies history.
I had previously posted putting forward the case for the domain not dropping, and the history of the Jersey company and subsequent takeovers/ acquisitions means that there is an active company with a legal claim to the rights to the domain. I think it is just a matter of time before the 'transfer' takes place.
