This wont be going much lower if at all. Great price esp taking into account Ramsgate.UK.

Its like sell one get one free :)

Sold. But now back on sale

Not sold after some idiot has just counted his Monopoly money and decided he only has £400!
It's been a long time since an acorn member has completely messed me about.
If anyone thinks of doing business with this guy..... Think again

humm.. and what did I really do wrong?

On Sunday morning I expressed my intention to buy this domain in 1 full payment and to reserve it for 2 days.

On the late afternoon of the same day I sent you an apology that at the moment can't afford it.

Why do you think I needed those 2 days for?? .. I contacted 2 clients of mine and tried to get invoices paid by Monday, but they aren't able to do that.

As soon as I understood the fact that I've got only £400 in my bank account - you were promptly and politely informed that I will not be able to buy it.

This is life.. I tried my best..

Yes, I wasted your time, but you got 2 apologies (1 even after you offended me a bit).

.. and this is what a professional domain dealer calls an "acorn member has completely messed me about".

    Regards,

    2.Hi Helmuts
Can you confirm you are paying my asking price of £2400. Ive had other interest and dont want to go lower.

    3.helmuc:
Good morning, yes, i will pay 2400£ incl vat - it is already a good price.

    4.Hi Helmuts
Yes 2 days is fine, I can give you a week if you need it.

    5. helmuts
    Excellent

Do you understand what "yes, i will pay 2400£ incl vat" means?

    Then you conclude things with:
    Good evening David,

I can't afford it right now. .. just paid the rent, had great 2 days out with my kids and invested the rest..

.. have got £400 but they will not get me far..

I apologise for holding your time,

    Kind regards,
    Helmuts

Once again Do you understand what "yes, i will pay 2400£ incl vat" means????

.. of course I do understand.

But, as soon I understood that I overestimated my possibilities at that moment - I admitted that and informed you immediately!!

It doesn't give you the right to call anybody an idiot.. especially if you get a sincere apology... twice..

    where are your f manners?
    ..

Helmuts, you should have said that you're trying to get the cash together. I've been there and usually the seller would understand and possibly still reserve.

I 'sold' a domain a month ago for £750. The last message from the buyer was in sending the money early next week. That was a month ago and everything is silent since... I've sent him a bunch of emails... He's most likely changed his mind but it's annoying (something could have happened to him also I guess). So at least this was only a couple of days bluerock... Still annoying though.

let me start with the 2nd part - the process didn't take 2 days but 6-8 hours only :/

as for the 1st part - yes, I agree - I f**ed up, but times by times we all do no matter with what - with a choice of work, girlfriends or even choice of pizza.. whatsoever - it doesn't give you rights to forget about manners..

@woopwoop - do you disagree? how would you feel if you went to the shop, loaded your shopping basket and only at the till realised that have forgotten the wallet home? .. does it give any rights to a salesman to insult you if you do apologise? .. and even worse.. how would you feel if you did apologise even after that and the f** salesman started swearing in public how disappointed he was?? .. so? :)

@bluerock - I still feel guilty that I wasted your time as you had possible buyer in the line.

... and feel even worse that I lost this domain.. :/

I wondered if you might be Latvian and having researched you I think my assumption was probably right. :) I can appreciate the irritation you might have caused as bluerock thought he had a sale and believed that you just needed to gather things together. Clearly there was a lack of clear communication on your part for not stating you were still trying to gather the money together. This goes to show that a sale isn't final until payment has been made and the domain name has been transferred. In the past I've had a AD member change his mind and decide not to sell me a domain name that he had agreed to sell me and, luckily for me, a short while after I was glad he changed his mind! A mere AD forum membership alone is definitely not any mark of verification of a buyer or sellers legitimacy.
