who is the best registrar for .co.uk's?
That'll be the Registrar that meets all of your specific requirements at the lowest possible price.
the best one will always be yourself, so if you can warrant it then do that. Otherwise heart internet are ok.
I use Heart because they are good value, but I have had a few issues, including the wrong address getting recorded as registrant, and their system showing .eu domains as available when they're not.
Well I have over 300 domains registered with 1&1.co.uk
No registrar/ hosting co is perfect but I have never had any problems with buying domains from them.
They have offices in the UK so I would like to think that I am are covered by UK consumer law if things go wrong, rather than Kentucky law, for example.
They also have 24 hour support line which has come in handy on many occasions.
I think if you read around the forums you will read problems with most registrars ... especially when it comes to .co.uk domains.
I personally use 123 reg and have had no problems with them - however i know lots of other members on the forum have.
If your planning on registering a few domains and staying in the industry for many years then why not try 2/3 registrars with a few domains each and see for yourself? Everyone will have their own opinions on different companies domain control panels and customer services.
I like using Heart internet
Domain monster seem cheap enough but i have only used them to place pre ordered names so not actually regged any with them yet ?
I did pre order a name which i spelled wrong and their response was very fast so good customer service
I wouldn't advise using "streamline dot net" Nuff Said!
Separate names with a comma.
