I do, and I love it. Its got great processing power, a fantastic super high res display and I won't be going back to anything smaller. Takes a little while to get used to the size, but you do before too long.

My original post is below, just after its UK release:

You're lucky, I paid £600 quid for an unlocked one from Dixons (well, the wife did as a chrismas present for me)

EDIT - the wife paying for it is, in fact, the same as me paying for it.

Any development work I do now, I can test on the galaxy note for compatability with both tablet and mobile.

Having had a week to play with the phone, I love it. Yes the size is a bit big but for function etc etc it's brilliant. getting used to downloading apps etc.

cant wait to download some more stuff!!

I forgot to say one little tip for you, I turned my screen brightness down to the absolute minimum, the supplied battery lasts way longer.

A friend of mine has the Samsung and the Iphone 4. He loves the samsung but apparently battery power could be better. He's a gadget freak who's has a few non-iphones. Samsung is his favourite.
Edited to add - sorry seems the OP was not talking about the phone but the tablet. Don't know about that - I have an ipad and an asus transformer. Love my asus.

Well on my homescreen I have two clocks, one for the UK and one for Athens, plus a weather widget, plus my 5 main apps.

When you first buy the Galaxy note Samsung have everything turned up full blast, like screen brightness and automatic data roaming, which I also turned off. I just switched the screen to minimum and I only turn off GPS and auto data roaming when needed, I usually get about 2-3 days on normal use, which given the size of the screen isn't too bad. (IMO)

Interesting thing though - I leave my tablets on when I'm not using them. Left the ipad for 3 weeks without using it and when I went back to it there was still 78% battery power. That was with wifi on. My asus lasts about 4 days with the same. The answer is to turn them off when you're not using them but, hey, who does that?
