Would you reg this is you saw it FTR? I wouldn't.... but what do I know?
the .com has a 'coming soon' page, looks like it's protect cctld reg
but yeah I wouldn't have regged it either !
It's just plain wrong, there's no need. Animals hate that shit.
I felt the same when I saw this sale
petspjs.co.uk is still ftr!
pjs sounds a little too american, hence reason the buyer probably went for the full word. still a crazy price!!
36 searches a month according to Adwords. Nobody really bidding on Adwords for the term (good hint its unmonetizable). Nobody really trying to rank pages for it (good indication the market just isn't there).
I wouldn't have paid reg fee for this.
Just goes to show that exacts/adwords mean absolutely jack all to a lot of end users.
Sure but in this case, it seems there isn't even a market to sell the product to. As the owner of a couple of dogs, I can't see this ever catching on here. Would anyone else feel the need to buy pyjamas for their pets? Its just stupid and probably not even doing them any good health wise...
In my experience a lot of pet owners are nutters, the stats here seem to confirm this:
"According to new article from the BBC, a quarter of all owners are in the habit of taking their pets to bed with them – and 4% even admit to dressing their dogs or cats in pyjamas"
I could imagine some people being intrigued by this address and interested in seeing pets in pyjamas!
Could be an opportunity to sell pets pyjamas (sounds crazy to me!) and (importantly) produce traffic to sell other more practical and useful pet related products.
