Just saw this on Sedo speed.co.uk £3,501
Damn, another great name missed
Yes, that is a rather nice buy for the money. I wonder what they'll be doing with it. Car site perhaps?
What a steal! Could make a great car/broadband site.
bargain, very nice name. I know you'd have bought that Paul having known the price.
so what's the problem? was everyone unaware of this auction?
or is it just like: "I know this name is selling and the price is XXX, but I'd rather wait to see how it develops... Bang! It sold for XXXX. What a steal. I'd pay XXXX+1.".
From the prices premium domains are being sold for on DomainLore I can also attest that the recession has hit domainers pretty hard. Even the prolific re-sellers.
Speed.co.uk is certainly a 5 figures name to an end user.
Just to say althought it went for £3-£4k
It doesn't mean that any of us could have got it for that. Just depends how much the highest bidder would have gone for it, they could have gone up to £10k, we'll never know. But a cracking price for it.
Well we will as the new owner is a 'domainer' and he would have gone probably a grand more on top
I agree though with vizzy, lots of bargains about however there is a difference between pointing that out and being an 'aftertimer' style poster. For the record Paul aint one of them
I checked the spelling this time ....
So you were the ###hole who was driving the price on top of my GBP3301 bid.
