Just wondering what tools people use for creating logos and banners for their sites.

I'm not looking for anything fancy and full blown (eg like photoshop), but something simple and preferably free/cheap.

    Cheers
    Stephen.

I use xheader. Can be downloaded for free xheader.com/ pretty basic but does the job for simple logo's.

I use that ^^^ Cool Text tool for making all my logo text banners, very quick and easy.

If I want a little logo/badge/seal I use this seal generator:

Thanks for the reminder about xheader. I'd bookmarked it ages ago and forgotten all about it

I've been looking at Artisteer - artisteer.com - which auto-generates full web layouts for you. The free trial is worth playing with, though the full version aint cheap. But if you're new to html and not yet able to hack free templates into what you want it's worth a look

    Cheers, Jon
