    Hey Guys,

What tools are you using to scan your websites for security holes and whatnot, was thinking of getting the Acunetix Web Vulnerability Scanner but when I saw how much it was I almost fell off mi perch.

nessus would also help as its normally the server at blame
nikto might also fit your question

As your obviously only testing your own sites!
Dont forget to remove the firewall as it will more than likely block your probes (if not, why not) also if your using "I cant remember lol" the plugin that checks for script exploits, turn that off also until your complete.

    online website scanner on demand

I recommend a service call GamaSec ( Web Application Scanner: Vulnerability Assessment Scan-Free Trial) remote online web vulnerability-assessment service hat tests web servers, web-interfaced systems and web-based applications against thousands of known vulnerabilities with dynamic testing, and by simulating web-application attacks during online scanning. The service identifies security vulnerabilities and produces recommended solutions that can fix, or provide a viable workaround to the identified vulnerabilities
